Consent & communication choices
Consent Framework
Effective date: 6 October 2026 · Version 1.0
1. Clear, purpose-specific consent
Investor Setu uses separate, understandable choices where consent is the applicable legal basis. A user is not required to grant unrelated optional permissions merely to obtain a service where applicable law requires the choices to be separated.
2. Professional CRM pre-launch registration
The registration requires service-contact consent for registration, verification, CRM programme, launch and related service administration. Separate optional choices may cover WhatsApp, relevant email communication, AI-assisted interaction/processing and promotional or opportunity-related communication.
3. Legal acceptance is separate
Acceptance of applicable Terms is recorded separately from optional communication choices. The Privacy Notice is presented as a standalone notice and acknowledged separately where required by the registration flow.
4. Records
Investor Setu records applicable consent/acceptance versions and timestamps so that the basis of a registration can be audited. Historical consent events should not be silently overwritten.
5. Withdrawal
Where consent is the basis, users may withdraw it through the applicable mechanism. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully performed and does not automatically require deletion of records Investor Setu is lawfully required or permitted to retain.
6. No blanket consent
Investor Setu does not use a single blanket “I agree to everything” permission as a substitute for purpose-specific choices.
